Kapitalizm bir krizler sistemidir. Başka bir deyişle kriz kapitalizmde yapısaldır. Bu olguya rağmen Sovyetler Birliği’nin dağılması ile kapitalizmin zaferi ilan edildi. Emperyalizm ve uzantıları sosyalizmin yenilgiye uğrayıp tarihe karıştığını ilan etti. Bununla yetinmeyerek ideolojilerin sonunun geldiğini iddia ettiler.
